How to Use Reflective Heat Transfer Vinyl
Step 1: Design & Cut
Like standard HTV, you must flip (mirror) your design before cutting it on a cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette.
Step 2: Weed Excess Material
Remove unwanted vinyl carefully to maintain design integrity.
Step 3: Heat Press Application
Set heat press to 140–145°C (284–293°F) and apply for 8–10 seconds with medium pressure.
Step 4: Cold Peel
Allow the material to cool completely before peeling the carrier film.
Step 5: Final Press (Recommended)
Apply a second press for 2–3 seconds to enhance durability.
