How to Use Matte Heat Transfer Vinyl
1. Cut & Weed
Mirror your design before cutting. Cut the matte HTV with a compatible cutting machine, then carefully weed away the excess vinyl.
2. Pre-Press the Fabric
Pre-press the garment for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles. This helps create a clean, flat surface for transfer.
3. Position the Design
Place the weeded design on the fabric with the adhesive side facing down. Make sure the design is flat and correctly positioned.
4. Heat Press
Press at 140–145°C (284–293°F) with 3–5 kg medium pressure for 8–10 seconds.
5. Peel the Film
Use warm peel or cold peel according to the specific product specification.
6. Check the Transfer
Make sure the edges and details are firmly bonded. Allow the garment to cool before washing.
