How to Use Light Sensitive HTV
1. Design & Cut
Create your design and cut it using a vinyl cutter (such as Cricut or Silhouette). Always cut the shiny side facing down.
2. Weed the Excess Vinyl
Remove the unwanted parts of the design carefully, leaving only the artwork on the carrier sheet.
3. Position on Fabric
Place the design onto your garment (cotton, polyester, or blends). Make sure it is aligned correctly.
4. Heat Press Application
Apply heat at 155–160°C (311–320°F) for 12 seconds with medium pressure.
5. Warm Peel
Formulations are warm-to-cool peels. Allow the vinyl to cool down slightly before carefully peeling away the carrier sheet to ensure the vinyl has fully adhered to the fabric.
6. Activate the Color Change
Expose the finished garment to sunlight or UV light, and the vinyl will instantly change color, creating a dynamic visual effect.
Tip: Wait 24 hours before your first wash. Always wash the garment inside out in cool water and tumble dry on low to preserve the UV-reactive coating.
